We put a lot of work going into this last game of season 11, but I think it was an awesome game!  I had a blast and I've heard many reports to the same.  Some pretty epic fights.  I think we had some nice story and put a lot of effort into making the setting truely look and feel different.  Of course I can't wait untill next season is announced, but there is a lot for me to do in the down time.  Much of my cast weaponry needs to be repaired/replaced.  Some other small revamps I would like to see before the next season.  Plenty of stuff to do to fill that larping gap.  Maybe even going to some other company's events.  we'll see.

Well, I'm home from another larp.  What a great event!!! Aura Unveiled season 11 game 3 was great!  A lot of new people there, and they all did a great job.  I dont know the last game where so many people spent soooo much time in charactor.  It made it really enjoyable for us cast members.  Was a big combat game for us.  I'm hurting a bit today, but its a good hurt.  A larp weekend is always great for reminding me to work out on a regular basis.  I can't wait till the next event.  September 25th can't come soon enough!

Man time is flying for me!  Seems like my vacation is busier than my work year.  Anyhoo our next larp is this weekend.  It is hard to believe it is here already!  I'm crazy excited, but I really hope this heat wave ends for the weekend....

Well guys, my excitement has been building since our last event.  Registration is now open for game 2!  Titled "Extinction," this game is promicing to be exciting.  The writers are already hard at work.  One story line in particular has already gotten me hopping. Go and register now for the event on the weekend of July 10th at Faire play in Montrose, PA.

Well, our first game of this season is complete!  I've heard nothing but good feed back.  I'm still amazed that someone flew in from Texas for the game! Thankfully he was very pleased with the game, I would have felt horrible if he flew all that way and didn't have a good time.  We had a lot of new people there this game, which is great.  I would love to see this trend continue!  Our next event is the weekend of July 10th.  We will again be at the faire play site in Montrose, PA.  If you are relatively close, you will want to put it on your calander.  Registration is not yet open, but keep your eyes open.

Our one complaint from the weekend.  Oddly enough, modesty in costuming.  Has anyone else had an issue with this?  Does anyone have a modesty rulling that they have had to put out?  The only thing I've seen in a rule is "you must wear something under your kilt."  I guess what we are looking for is advise on wording for this.  Any thoughts?

We had a Fight practice this past Sunday, the 25th.  A great time was had by all.  I always love it when people show up at my house with food   We got a lot of fighting in before the rain and then had a good time sitting and shooting the breeze.  We are looking to have another one on the 25th at my place in Bethlehem, PA.  We will also focus on making some arrows that day.  If you're interested in Aura, or just want to learn/practice with us, drop me a line.  We would love to have you.  Our event will be the next weekend.  There are still spaces availabe for both adventurers (pc's) and cast (NPC).  We would love to have you.

Also, for those of you in the Philly Area, I encourage you to check out Talonnor.  They are a lot of fun, just getting started.  Their next event is this comming Saturday, May 1st.  I'm hoping to bring a few of my Aura Unveiled buddies down to play, should be a good time.

We have started having a nice response for adventurers, but we need some people who want to play the bad guys.  Unfortunately, due to outside commitments, many of our regular combat heavy cast members are not going to make it for this event.

Casting is not only less expensive and a lot of fun, but also a great way to learn the system.  I, personally, recomend that all new players start out by casting.  Obviously this isn't a requirement.

Anyhow, hope your weather is as beautiful as ours and that you're getting out to enjoy it!

Went to their first event this past weekend in Philly.  Had a lot of fun.  Got my butt kicked pretty good due to the different fighting style than what I'm used to, but still had a great time.  I'm excited to see where it goes in the future, and glad to make some new friends.  If you are in the area, I encourage you to keep an eye on them.
