"Avegost is a live action roleplaying game, or LARP that takes place once a month in Waycross, Georgia at Laura S. Walker State Park with its members making the trek from Atlanta, Savannah, Macon in Georgia as well as Alabama, Florida and as far away as Wisconsin. Avegost is a reenactment, an art form, and a fantasy roleplaying game all in one. Avegost is one of several LARPs in the state of Georgia but is different than the others in that it is the most immersive and lowest cost to play!

New members to the Avegost community are given two months to learn the game and play for free and in no time people new to the hobby will be just as involved as players who have been here from the start!
