I'm fairly sure I used to see what looked like promising larp crossbows and bolts on Iron Liege many moons ago, but they aren't there anymore. I can't find anywhere else that does larp crossbows and bolts in the safe and widely accepted way that I'd like, with the golf tube shafts and nice bigger-than-eye-socket tips. I could probably make my own bolts, but it's the actual crossbow that I'm worried about. I can't just go buy one- the channel for the bolts would be too small! They're all made for normal thin wooden/metal shafts, not golf tubes. And while I could easily buy a nifty nerf gun and make it look like a kick ass repeating crossbow, the bolts are small, can hit someone in the eye, and will get lost really easily. So I need something bigger. I want something light-weight, small-ish, and something that looks like it was made by a seige engineer who borders on steampunk... I wish they still sold the van helsing nerf crossbow. Oh well..

So how do I start? I'm going to have to figure something out.... hmmmmm....

I finally missed 10xp worth of RoC games. Two day games this month to make up for the Oct. weekend dates being snatched out from under us, and I couldn't go to either. Well... I could've gone to the first one, but mood and life issues prevented me from going. This last one, I couldn't have gone no matter how badly I was itching for a game. I was in San Ramone, working on the set of a commercial, the third one in as many days. All that's done with now, finally, so I have the free time to do other stuff again, as long as I remember to make time for my homework. Woo. Still.... that's 10 xp I don't get :(

Oh well.
