Hello and welcome to Mystic Realms Live Action Role Playing. If you had clicked this link to see what we are about, I appreciate and commend your curiosity. You may have gone to other LARP's that have been mainly fighting, action, or even "grind fests" where Players can't kill a monster without 10 or more participants.

This is what sets Mystic Realms apart from its competition.

We place YOU into the action, to be your character and to place emotional and sentimental value into the story. You will feel the horde of Orcs, Goblins, and the like breathing down your spine as you hear the war drums preparing for their final charge. You will feel emotion and possibly tear up when your homeland is destroyed by the ravages of war due to choices the players made.

The reason why Mystic Realms is strong is because of it's dynamic story choice system. You are not playing a role playing game with a linear ending, you are living your characters life, and not only creating a persona, but making real changes to the games atmosphere based on a players choices throughout the event.

"But Ted, I've been to other LARP's at level 1 and I feel powerless"

This is the best part about Mystic Realms, no player is useless or without power! All players, whether from Level 1 to Master status can fight and take on any monster in Mystic Realms. The game is designed to not only diminish the punishment to players that just start out, but NPC'ing is completely voluntary and not forced in the slightest. As a matter of fact, if you decide to NPC the entire event, your event is free.

We also encourage creative players to create and participate in their own storyline, not only providing more experience for your creativity but showing off your passion for storytelling. How many games do you know that doesn't have a static team of writers, but a team that rotates when multiple storytelling rotate and take into place?
