Wow, Saturday at the park was epic. We had most of our Amtguard regulars show up, and about 8 out of towners who came to visit. Add 9 new sign ups to that and we had a rough total of about 30 people, probably our best attendance in a long time.

Through out the day we also had two requests for help with halloween party performances.

All the new bodies, potential advertising for our land and what must have been nearly 3 hours of hardcore ditch battles, Saturday had to have been our best day yet this year.

The weekend of 1-17 and 18 was great for any one in the San Jose area.

Sat. was the RoC fighter practice. We had about 30 people show up to say "hi" to old friends and beat on each other. We also had at least three new people show up who were new to the system.

Sun. was Amtguard's first Westmarch Tutorial for Fighters, something we should be doing again next year unless we get to host SKBC. we held classes for techniques in single sword, Florentine, sword and shield, pole arm and line fighting, all with beginner and advanced lessons. I think we had close to 50 people show up but I didn't get too count the sign in sheet.

In the futer if any one gets a chance to go to WTF, SKBC or any other instructional class for fighting, I strongly recommend it. I have been fighting in amtguard for six years and still walked away with new information.
