Thanks for the advice. I bought the weapons from Dark Knight Armory, they're the ready for battle line. I bought 3 different weapons from the line, and left feedback on all of them. And Modesto is probably one of the closer areas suggested to me so far, but it's still about 2 hours away. So I'm beginning to think starting a local LARP is the way to go. I'll definitely look into the fighter's guild as you suggested. I also wouldn't feel right asking you to make such a diversion on a trip that long, since it's in august though we're somewhat more likely to have a mode of transportation capable of holding us all. (I'm saving up to take over payments of my Mom's Van. It's not the coolest car, but it holds 7 and can hold plenty of gear in the floor.) Vaughn |

Dang, I wish I had known. I JUST made plans to go to a RoC one day. Normally I'd skip it but I just convinced a recent new mother to pull out of storage over a half dozen large tubs of fabric and to bring them to the game for me to rummage through for costumes for various LARP groups. I just recently heard about the Labyrinth of Jareth and would have loved to attend. I have also heard a rumor that someone is trying to put a similiar thing together up here in the bay area but based on the movie Legend instead of Labyrinth. Guess who is being prodded to remake Tim Curry's headpiece? :P Mark |

Hi, Rick! My son Quinn and I played with you at RenQuest today; thanks for all the fun! We'd love to come to the event coming up on May 19, and we'd really like to be included in the future family/kid events you have planned. Thanks so much! Laura
