A Dark Fortune; Treasure hunt adventure.
You follow the trail of quasits and jewels which fell from the stolen treasure boxes as the theif scurried back to the bandit camp. You see smoke rising over the next hill. When you arrive at the top, you see a large wooden fortress, pieced together from unworked tree trunks. A simple wooden portcullis, operated by a guard inside, is closing as a bandit clambers inside, his arms clenched around an awkward load of stolen treasure boxes. You spot archers walking along the top of the wall. You drop to your stomachs. Both of you make for a collection of trees and rocks, out of any archer's sight. You look at one another and begin to devise your plan.

Maddius and Tiruk, decide that it would be best if they first went back to where the druids made refuge and find out if they have the ability to cleanse the diseases and curses that plague their bodies.

Re: A Dark Fortune; Treasure hunt adventure.
You retrace your path, back to the first cave you encountered and find two different druids standing guard on either side of the entrance. They are both women, with sun beaten skin and long, messy, auburn hair. They appear as though they might be twin sisters, although the one to the right appears to be a few years older. Each guard has a grey wolf sitting by their feet. The wolves' shining yellow eyes glare upon the two of you and their snarling snouts release hot fog into the frigid air of the northern night. The guard who appears older says, "On your guard, bandits approach." She looks on you with disgust and says, "You will not take another step bandits! Leave the sacred cave or we will feed the soil with your blood." The wolves lick their fangs and stand, the hair on their backs standing like bristles.

Maddius places his sword to the ground and instructs Tiruk to do the same. "Please, we are not bandits!" he says quickly, for to die now would be a great misfortune. "We came here with good intentions. The other druids who stood watch before allowed us to pass. We attempted to rid these caves of the beasts and undead that began to dwell within, but during these harsh encounters we became infected and cursed. We were hoping that the druids that protected this sacred grove would be so kind as to abolish them so that we may continue to help by ridding this land of the bandits."

"These are the ones Wither Fang and Stone Claw spoke of," says the young looking guard in a light hushed voice. The other guard eased her stance the two wolves backed down. She says, "Very well, Night Paw will lead you to the cave of purification." The wolf at her feet trots by you and down what appears to be a small dear trail behind you. "Go, lest the filth you carry ends your empty little lives," she says as she turns to whisper something in the younger guard's ear.
