A LARP event being run in Texas in November
I posted a blog on the site today about a project I'm working on setting up and running in November of this upcoming year (2010). Instead of reposting the entire blog, I'll post a summary, and a link to the blog post.
We're running a larp event in November at a renaissance faire site in Hillsboro, TX that will be in the style of a civil war re-enactment (but a fantasy LARP) dealing with two armies, the primitives army and the civilized army, fighting over a magical item that they think the other side has, and neither side actually has the object. The ultimate goal is to make this to be like the large-scale LARP events in Europe. Unlike some of the larger LARP events in the US that are geared towards a single game (example Ragnarok for Dagorhir), thie is going to be it's own game and open to ANYONE who plays a larp.
More information is in my blog post at http://www.larpspace.com/texasminotaur/blog/cat/general
We also have a Yahoo group at groups.yahoo.com/group/Middlefaire_LARP
